The Lamar Hunt US Open Cup
Santa Clarita, California. - Santa Clarita Storm, Santa Clarita 's Men's Pro team has released its spring
season schedule that includes the US Open Cup Qualifiers. Saturday January 28th the N.P.S.L Southwest
Division of the Western Conference released its Open Cup Qualifiers that will also be a part of the spring
schedule for the Storm. The Spring Schedule will start with two games that take place at the University of
California Irvine, where the Storm will play two games on Saturday March 3rd against the University of San Diego and will follow that game with one against George Kuntz’s Irvine team.
The spring schedule will wrap up with a series of games in Santa Clarita with teams from the Conference, F.C. Hasental and the Fullerton Rangers the will be the United States Open Cup Qualifiers. The Storm will
play the Fullerton Rangers on March 17. The winner of that game in a single elimination will go on to face F.C. Hasental on March 24. The winner of this Round Robin will be the represent the Conference in the Open Cup that will take place in May.  The Western Conference consists of 12 teams 6 in the North and 8 in Southern California. the regions will have one representative in the Open Cup. Each Region has dividend itself into two groups of three that will compete with each other in the round robin style tournament and there will be one winner in each group of three. Those two winners will be the two Western Conference representatives.  April 7th will begin the regular season play and the N.P.S.L schedule will be released soon.
