Storm takes first loss at home in a 3-1 score

Santa Clarita , California - May 26,2012 - Santa Clarita Storm played the Bay Area Ambassadors at William  S Hart High School in Newhall. The Storm Scored the first goal of the game, but gave up two unanswered goals to fall for the first time this season at home 3 to 1.

The Storm still waiting on players to come off  the injury list, fine themselves with out top point getter Tyler Coombes who leads the team with 9 goals and one assist for a total of 19 points. And  they felt that tonight as they where unable to hold on to a one goal lead that came in the 20th minute. Captain Stephen Martines delivered a corner kick that found the head of midfielder Andres Bueno, who with a quick flick of the head put in his fourth goal of the season.
But only 20 minutes. later Bay Area's Bryan Walle put a cross from Javier Hill in the back of the  net to knot up the score.

It was only one minute in to the second half and Bryan Walle again came up with the winning goal and his second of the game. the Storm made several opportunities but failed to capitalize on them.
Alex Harlley had five shots and four from Matthew Shaxton but where unable to put the ball in the net. But in the 65th minute Jordan Keyes from the visiting Ambassadors did, as he  picked up an insurance goal unassisted. The Storm ended up with 15 shots that matched Bay Area's attempts.

Storm travels next week to Eureka to play the North Coast Tsunami on June 2nd and will return to William S. Hart High School June 9th in a rematch from the season opener where the two teams tied 2-2.
